Cancellation, weather & refunds.

Booking & deposit

Your session date and time are reserved when your deposit is received. The deposit is applied toward your total package price, with the balance due at your session.

Cancelling or rescheduling your session

• 48 hours or more before your session: reschedule for free to any available slot, or cancel for a full refund of your deposit.
• Less than 48 hours before your session: the deposit is non-refundable. When possible, we are happy to apply it as a credit toward a rescheduled session during your stay.

Weather

Our sessions take place outdoors, and your safety and the quality of your portraits come first. If we determine that weather or unsafe conditions require cancelling your session, the choice is yours:

• Reschedule for free to any available slot — including later in your stay, or
• Receive a full refund of your deposit and any payments made.

Light clouds or a passing shower often make for beautiful portraits — a weather call is ours to make, and we will contact you as early as possible on your session day.

If we need to cancel

In the rare event that your photographer must cancel due to illness or emergency, you receive the same choice as a weather cancellation: a free reschedule or a full refund of everything paid.

No-shows

If you are unable to attend and do not notify us before your session time, the deposit is forfeited. Please arrive 5 minutes early; sessions delayed more than 15 minutes may need to be shortened or treated as a no-show so we can honor the bookings that follow yours.

How refunds are issued

Refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment processor (Square) and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
